Digital fire alarm system with EVALARM
Classify fire alarms faster, communicate effectively, and act safely.
In a fire alarm, every second counts. EVALARM complements existing fire detection and alarm processes with digital information, feedback, tasks, escalations, and a real-time situational overview.
This way, those affected, fire safety assistants, evacuation assistants and those responsible can find out more quickly where the alarm was triggered, what needs to be done and whether further measures are necessary.

Fire alarms are more than just a warning signal
Conventional fire alarm systems often warn affected individuals via audible or visual signals. While this warning is important, it often fails to provide qualified information about the incident.
In the event of a fire, those affected, helpers and those in charge need quick answers to key questions:
Where was the alarm triggered?
Which area is affected?
Is there a reporting history?
Which people are available?
What tasks need to be carried out?
Are there any particular risks, such as hazardous substances?
Is evacuation, escalation, or de-escalation necessary?
EVALARM enhances fire alarm systems with digital information, feedback, and coordinated procedures. This transforms a simple alarm system into a structured emergency response process.

Where was the alarm activated?

Who was notified and who confirmed?

Which tasks need to be completed now?

Is escalation and evacuation required?

What information do the fire department and external parties need?

Trigger fire alarm via IoT button

Not every building has a fire alarm or fire warning system. At the same time, it can be useful to warn people in the building quickly and effectively in the event of a fire.
EVALARM allows an IoT button to be used as a manual trigger for an internal fire alarm. When the button is pressed, a defined alarm process starts automatically.
Affected persons, fire safety assistants, evacuation assistants or those responsible will be notified via app, PC,
Notified via email, SMS or voice call.
This allows a structured internal alarm process to be set up even without an existing fire alarm or fire warning system — depending on the respective fire protection concept and the requirements on site.
The triggered alarm can also be linked to the location of the report, instructions for action, feedback, and tasks. This allows those responsible to see more quickly where the alarm was triggered, who has been informed, and what measures are already underway.
Optional connection to an emergency call and service center
If there is no legal or building code obligation to connect, fire warning systems, fire alarm systems or technical alarm systems can optionally be connected to a certified emergency call and service center via EVALARM.
Incoming messages can be received, evaluated and forwarded there according to defined processes — flexibly and, if required, also as a pay-on-demand model.
Qualified information
for fire brigade and emergency services
EVALARM can support external emergency responders with relevant information. Digital alarm and emergency communication does not replace the initial alert to the fire department, but rather supplements it with qualified operational information. Emergency personnel receive crucial information in real time – even while en route or upon arrival.
This can include:
Reporting location and reporting history
Fire service route maps and building overview plans
Special risks (e.g. hazardous substance information)
Local contact person
Current situation information (e.g. evacuation status)

This allows emergency services to get an earlier overview and better prepare for the situation.
Free for fire departments
EVALARM provides fire departments with free access to the platform and the use of the internal alerting system.

Checklist for digital fire alarm systems
Check whether your fire alarm system not only warns in an emergency, but also provides orientation, feedback and clear measures.
Is the reporting location displayed automatically and unambiguously?
Can fire safety officers, evacuation assistants, and those in charge be specifically alerted?
Are feedback and availability visible in real time?
Can tasks and instructions be distributed digitally?
Can escalation, de-escalation, evacuation, and all-clear be depicted?
Can fire alarm systems, fire warning systems, or technical alarm systems be connected?
Is there a solution for buildings without a fire alarm system or building management system, e.g., via an IoT button?
Is the entire alarm process documented in a traceable manner?
Pre-alert in case of fire incidents
Not every fire alarm needs to reach everyone immediately.
1
The emergency team receives a silent pre-alarm.
2
The situation is assessed and feedback is provided.
3
Alarm is escalated, de-escalated, or cleared.
With EVALARM, a defined emergency team can be informed first. They can review the alarm, provide feedback, and escalate or de-escalate the alert as needed.
This allows false alarms to be assessed more effectively while gaining valuable time for preparation.
